You May Not Have Thought of This

... but we did

If you are considering selling your product on Amazon, please note that Amazon, at any time, may require additional steps and documents that we, typically, do not provide to our customers. Please note that this is a time-consuming service that requires us to go back into our archives.

Our Amazon Compliance Document Procedure

How it Works

Amazon has vendor requirements regarding testing for childrens' toys and we want to make sure that your product is fully compliant with those Amazon standards. Customers that indicate, to their project manager, that they will be selling on Amazon will be charged a one-time service fee of $250 for required compliance documentation and maintenance. Customers must make this indication known to their project manager prior to invoicing of their final payment. CustomPlush.com will maintain these documents, and any changes needed, for a period of one year from the date of final payment.

Customers that have been invoiced for their final payment, and/or have already received their order and are now requiring this documentation, will be charged a one-time fee of $400 for required documentation and maintenance.
CustomPlush.com will maintain these documents, and any changes needed, for a period of one year, from the date of final payment.

Any customer that requests this service, will be provided with an initial compliance file. This file will include a Children's Product Certificate and the Testing Report from your product. If you are required to submit the documents, and Amazon requests different information or changes to made,
CustomPlush.com will make the revisions and supply a new file. (Amazon's requirements do sometimes vary.) This request can be made to happytohelp@plush.com. CustomPlush.com will maintain these new documents for a period of one year, from the date of the final payment, after which, we will be unable to amend the compliance documents.

Standards at the state or federal level periodically change. If this occurs within the one-year period of your maintenance contract, and your product requires additional testing to meet compliance, CustomPlush.com can assist in arranging the test. However, the customer will be responsible for any charges that the additional testing requires, including shipment of product to the testing facility. Once the product receives the satisfactory test, CustomPlush.com will then issue a new Children’s Product Certificate for your product.

CustomPlush.com is not affiliated with Amazon. Therefore, we cannot know the exact reason they may be requiring the documentation. If your documents are "rejected", this is at no fault to
CustomPlush.com. In the event that the documentation is "rejected", you would need to contact happytohelp@plush.com, by forwarding the information that Amazon provides to you in the "rejection" email. We will then either amend the reports, as needed, or do our best to guide you through Amazon's support system.
